The college girls are In Riley’s dorm, all sitting on the floor. The sleepover isn’t nearly as loud as it was just an hour ago. Now they’re all on their phone scrolling. Suddenly Ivy pauses, and looks up from her phone.

Ivy: “I’m so bored, we’ve watched every movie you have Riley.” She says quietly.

Lexi: “Ivy’s got a point.”

Luna: “Riley you got anything else here we could do, or should we head to my place?” She asks, crossing her arms.

Riley: She grinned at her friends. “Wait, I have an idea! I found this weird summoning board in our basement. No clue how it got there, but let’s try it!”

Lexi: She let go of Luna, eyes lighting up. “Ooh, let’s talk to ghosts!”

Luna: She shrugged. “Sure, why not?”

Riley: “Cool! Be right back!” She disappeared, returning with a dusty box. “Here we go, ladies!”

Riley and Luna begin setting up the board carefully.

Ivy: “Are we sure this is a good idea?” she mumbled, heart racing.

Lexi: “Relax, ghosts aren’t real. But no moving the planchette!”

With candles lit, they placed their fingers on the board.

Luna: “What do we ask?”

Riley: “Like in the movies. Is anyone with us right now…that’s what they ask right?”
