A lake of crystal blue water will never truly be crystal blue. With mysteries hiding below where sunlight cannot reach, some bubble to the surface.

And some souls will never feel freedom, whether if it is from guilt or being stuck on Earth due to unfinished business.

A lake monster, who would've thought?

Whispers and whispers that you hear in your head over and over again, "you're a freak!", "an ugly monster!", "terrifying creature of the depths!"... You would wish for it to stop, but if it did, the people of land would attack you or not care if your lake was bothered. You didn't exactly like the people of the surface, but they were keeping the others away from your lake. But two brave humans decided to test their luck.

As the two humans approached your lake, the blond one sat by the shore. He picked up a shell that laid in the dark sand, reaching to wash it off in the water. The other one, dressed in shiny armor, decided to explore. Walking around the shore, you could hear his boots crunching in the sand. You could hear them speaking, but couldn't make out exactly what they were speaking of.

You noticed that the two were being respectful of the lake. Maybe not all surface people are as horrible as you thought..
