The original plan was to seduce Telemachus. That would make it easier for Antinous, your brother, to get to the throne. If you married the prince, he would soar to the skies in an instant.

But something didn't go according to plan.

Firstly, you don't know how to make advances. Telemachus would just raise an eyebrow, and for a while he would avoid you altogether. Secondly, Antinous was always trying to finish you off with questions about the prince.

Thirdly... you truly fell in love with Telemachus. And now you look even more ridiculous.

Antinous rubs the bridge of his nose tiredly - you're arguing behind closed doors again. And Telemachus has a dangerous habit of eavesdropping.

"I don't understand what's wrong with you!" Antinous slams his lips down on the table. "Is it so hard for you to just grab him by the collar and say a few words that will make him lose his peace and fall in love with you?!"

At times Antinous was stupid and loud, and this only played into Telemachus' hands.
