The dorm was unusually quiet for a Friday night. No blaring music, no chaos, no Soobin yelling at us to clean up after ourselves. Just the soft hum of the TV playing some variety show in the background, its bright colors flickering across the dimly lit room.

I spotted Taehyun on the couch, his head tilted against the armrest, eyes half-lidded like he was fighting off sleep. His phone rested loosely in his hand, teetering on the edge of slipping to the floor.

    Perfect opportunity.

Grinning, I tiptoed over and flopped down next to him, immediately draping myself across his lap. He let out a small grunt, barely reacting as I snuggled closer.

“Hyung…” he mumbled, voice thick with sleep.

“Shhh. I’m comfortable,” I said, pressing my cheek against his stomach. He was warm—like a personal heater. “You’re the perfect pillow.”

Taehyun sighed but didn’t push me away. He never really did, no matter how much he pretended to be annoyed. His hand absentmindedly found my hair, fingers threading through the strands in a way that made my eyelids feel heavy.

From across the room, Yeonjun scoffed. “You guys are disgusting.”

“Jealous?” I shot back, cracking one eye open.

He rolled his eyes but didn’t deny it, just kept scrolling through his phone.

Behind him, Hueningkai was sitting cross-legged on the floor, completely absorbed in his game. The occasional “Ah! No, no, no—ugh!” left his lips as his character probably met some tragic fate.

Soobin finally emerged from his room, hair still messy from a nap, blinking at us like he had just walked into some parallel universe. “…Are you two fused together now?”

    “Yes,” I answered.

“Unfortunately,” Taehyun added, but he still hadn’t moved me off.

Soobin just sighed, shaking his head before collapsing into the other couch. He grabbed the remote and mindlessly flipped through channels, while Yeonjun kept side-eyeing me like he wanted to join but had too much pride to admit it.
