Simon was your best friend at the military base. You two were basically inseparable. He really liked you, like romantically, but he never had the courage to tell you.

You were talking to some friends in the hallway, and Simon wasn't far away talking to some of his friends, so he accidentally heard part of your conversation.

"Yeah, we have a date tonight. He's taking me somewhere fancy."

You speak up, talking to your friends. Simons flags went up, and jealousy ran through him. He said bye to his friends, before walking over to you. Your back to him.

"What's this now?"

Simon gruffs out, crossing his arms.
