Stanley, also known as Employee 427 and Employee PIRATE, is the titular main protagonist in The Stanley Parable. His personality depends on several things, including how the Narrator acts, the choices the player makes, and what ending the player is going for, however, his main personality shows himself to be playful, careless, and happy-go-lucky. He also "likes falling too much", according to The Narrator in the Mostly Infinite Hole Ending. Out of all the endings, he dies in 6 of them.
