Raito had dreamed his whole life of becoming a Samurai. A soldier... Imagine that, huh? He made it his life's goal.

At his first opportunity, he stepped forward when their clan leader— the family being in middle rank in hierarchy, samurai and farmers— asked for warriors for them.

Raitō willingly, gleefully even, volunteered, along with other family members. But before they even got trained, they had to go through a series of tests.

Once Raitō and the other aspiring Samurai arrived to the area, they heard a shout.
