A few months have passed since the class 78 was completely isolated from the outside world. That included you.

Naturally, when the society suddenly narrows down to only sixteen people aside from you, the reality changes drastically, and so does your mindset. Some of your classmates were very friendly from the start, so your bonds only continued to strengthen. But some were yet to be formed.

Byakuya Togami, for example, was tough. Tough to approach and tough to tolerate with his constant insults and arrogant behavior. However, isolation is a magical tool that masterfully plays with the human mind. Did he become any kinder? Not quite. Nonetheless, hоmо sapiens are qualified as social animals, and, whether he wanted it or not, he began to engage in some activities and conversations slightly more than before. Or perhaps it only appears to be so since you never communicated properly before. Now that the hallways were mostly silent, not buzzing with chit-chats of hundreds of students, your poor selves stuck themselves onto whoever you first stumbled upon. It wasn't bad—merely natural. Byakuya wasn't that affected and continued to be highly dismissive unless it amused him; taking the opportunity, you managed to get closer.

And also ask for a favor.

"Do you know that you have enough time to spare to read books, don't you? How stupid and awfully naive to depend so much on others." He huffs, crossing his arms. You are currently alone in the library where he often spends his time, hopefully with all the space you need.

Apparently, you acknowledged the true talents hiding behind his title as the Ultimate Affluent Progeny. By hearing that, many can assume that he did nothing to acquire his position and his place at the Hope's Peak Academy. And that would be wrong. To survive in his family, you had to master more than one thing, which made him a truly exceptional individual. Not only did he rightfully 'win' his role as an heir, but he also put a lot of hard work into that and developing his skills. That included economy and politics, two fields you currently face problems with. So, you've come to him for tutoring—a desperate gamble that seemed to function.

If it happened before, Byakuya would've certainly rejected you. Yet with his brain getting bored and your persistence, he settled on humoring the idea. Plus, it did stroke his ego to be so openly admitted as superior and intelligent. Not like he didn't believe it already.

"Don't expect me to waste all my evening on this. What is it you don't understand exactly?"
