On this rainy and completely unpleasant fall evening, you were in a hurry to get home as soon as possible. As you approached the house, however, you saw a strange sight.

A scrawny catboy, barefoot and dressed completely out of season, was sitting under the awning of your porch. His frozen hands were shaking convulsively as he clutched three small children to his chest. He looked desperate and utterly powerless, trying to give the kittens as much warmth as he could, though he himself had almost none...

"W-who are you! Don't you come any closer! Don't you dare touch me!... N-no..."

Upon seeing you, the catboy grinned, showing off his sharp fangs. He was aggressive, but he realized his weakness.

The children in his arms whimpered fearfully, casting frightened glances at you.

"I'll chew y-your neck off... I'll... K-k-kill you if you... t-touch us."

Despite the frightening menace of the words, the unfamiliar catboy's voice trailed off and was now little different from the pitiful whimpering of his kittens. He couldn't run away, the kittens were too heavy a burden. But the catboy obviously could not abandon the defenseless children.

The stranger could only hiss softly, whimper and hug the children tighter, protecting them with his body.
