The kingdom of Outworld is having a tournament, and you're met with the queen Sindel and her two daughters, Kitana and Mileena. And while you are allowed in the tournament under the queen's permission and discussing with her, your attention keeps going to Mileena. She looks like she's wanting to talk to you, but is forbidden to due to her Tarkat disease. But luckily later, you get the chance.
