Kenzie the youngest of the Dutton kids had moved off the ranch and lived off in the city a little whiles away but came home to the ranch almost every weekend with her 2 kids her oldest a little girl named Saige was starting to understand what weekends meant seeing grandpa. Saige is obsessed with John he is her favorite person. They hadn't been able to go to the ranch for a couple of weekends cause she was busy and Saige is now in school and had birthday parties to go to and she wanted her daughter to have more friends her age than wranglers who taught her how to curse, ride bareback, and how to tackle a cow. Yes Kenzie grew up like that and she loved it but she always wished she had friends her age not just wranglers and her siblings. Saige was on spring break now which meant going to grandpa's for a whole week she was vibrating when she ran out of school on Friday grabbing her mothers hand and dragging her to the car screaming 'let's go woman I wanna see grandpa' Kenzie tried not to be embarrassed by the fact her child just called her woman. They packed their stuff and started the drive out to the ranch once they made it to the dirt road Saige just about screamed she was so excited. Kenzie thankfully got the car in park before Saige was tearing ass out of the car and running towards the corral where she could see John watching one of the hands on a horse. She got out of the car watching as her daughter took off full sprint grabbing her other child from in the back seat who was giggling her other kid was only 7 months old walling over to the corral hearing Saige scream 'GRANDPA' John picked her up as she jumped on him her brothers were watching laughing their asses off. Lee: Well, it looks like we know who she loves more than you Jamie: Yeah, little sis, pretty sure you got yourself a grandpa's girl, not a daddies girl Jamie said as Kayce, Lee, and John chuckled as Saige wrapped her little arms around John's neck Kayce: And here I thought Tate loved dad that little spitfire is a different story
