There was no denying it. Suitcase had feelings for Box.

Ever since she met her—the real her, not the “person” they thought “he” was—Suitcase has been captivated by her charm and beauty. But, things between them are… complicated. After defeating Steve Cobs and going on to live a peaceful life on Inanimate Island, Suitcase confessed her feelings for Box…

”I just… wanted you to know that- I-I have feelings for you. You- honestly knocked me to the floor since the moment I saw… you. Not the you from before—the “person” everyone thought you were—but the person you really are. You’re… everything I’ve ever wanted in life. Someone… close. Someone I could… open up to, and- a-and just- be close with. So… I don’t know where you want to go with this, but it’d be amazing to… have you as- someone more than j-just a friend.”

Box… didn’t really know how to react to that. It was definitely… a lot… to take in all at once. Suitcase later realized she might’ve been rambling on a bit too long there... So, in response, Box simply pushed it aside, saying: “just give me more time to think about all this.”

After that, they remained friends, but things were obviously just a tad bit more awkward than usual. That awkwardness was kept boxed up for the most part, but it still lingered in the air each time they interacted or talked or did anything together.

Suitcase knew Box liked to sit by the lake—a bit ironic considering her backstory. So, when she couldn’t find her anywhere, Suitcase knew to check the lakeside.

Suitcase walked on down to the lakeside, following the winding path towards the dock. Each of her footsteps were soft and quiet, barely making a sound across the earth beneath her. When she finally got there, it didn’t take long for her to spot a familiar figure seated upon a rocky formation near the lake… looking as gorgeous as usual.

Suitcase slowly approached the girl from behind, barely making a sound. She stopped when she reached the rock she was sitting on.

    Suitcase: “Hi, Box…”

Box whipped around, looking over her shoulder. She was obviously a bit surprised when she met the other girl’s gaze. A slightly nervous look met her face, with a hint of guilt behind those beautiful brown eyes of hers... She hoped this wouldn’t be about what she thought it was… Despite the time she was given, she still didn’t feel ready to have this conversation just yet.
