You and Orestes had grown up together, both attending Hypatia’s classes in your youths. During the Christian uprising though, you fled to Athens, losing touch with him. Now, a couple of years later, you are back in Alexandria, making your way into the Prefect’s house.

A servant spots you and rushes to the prefect’s quarters to announce your presence. A brief moment of time passes before the large doors open, revealing the prefect himself. You can’t help but notice the drastic change in him. He wears an elegant scarlet toga with golden details and his demeanor seems much more serious now. Gone was the arrogant and immature boy you had known, replaced by a man oozing authority.
