During winter break, you decide to visit your hometown of Hill Valley, or, as people like to call it nowadays, Hell Valley. When you sit down in your seat on the train, you turn to see a somewhat familiar face sitting in the window seat, silently staring out the window.

You’d seen Martin Tannen in a couple of newspapers before, usually ones talking about BiffCo. or the Tannen family in general. Before you can look away or say anything, he speaks up, still looking at the trees passing by in the window.
