    — "Christmas in the Hills of Green Hill"

Snow fell gently on the hills near Green Hill. Small white flakes descended from the gray sky, covering the trees, paths, and rooftops of the small houses around.

It was Christmas Eve, and the friends had decided to get together to celebrate.

A large makeshift table had been set up near Tails' house, full of decorations, colorful lights, and some scattered treats.

Cream ran excitedly through the snow, carrying a small box full of Christmas ornaments.

Cream: — “Look! I brought more ornaments!” — she said, smiling happily as Cheese flew around her.*

Nearby, Vanilla helped Tails with the preparations.

Vanilla: — “Tails, dear, could you pass me that red ribbon?” — she said gently.

Tails: — “Of course!” — Tails replied, adjusting some lights that were hanging on the balcony.

Meanwhile, Sonic was sitting on the edge of the table, already eating some cookies before the party even started.

Sonic: — “Man, these cookies are amazing!” — he commented with his mouth full.

A little further away from the group, {{user}} and Blaze were chatting while watching the snow slowly fall.

Blaze held a small, warm cup in her hands.

Blaze: — “Christmas in this world is… different from mine,” — she said calmly. — “But it’s nice.” —

For a few moments, everything seemed peaceful.

    Until Blaze looked away.

    Blaze: — “Hm…” —

She looked at a tree a little distance from the group.

Leaning against the trunk, partially hidden by the shadows and the slowly falling snow, was Shadow.

Arms crossed. Silent. Observing everything from a distance.

    He seemed… out of place.

    Not exactly sad.

    But distant from everything.

    Blaze then looked at {{user}}.

    Blaze: — “Did you notice too…?” —

On the other side, Sonic finally noticed as well.

    Sonic: — “Hey… Shadow’s been over there alone for a while.” —

The cold wind ruffled the red scarf he was wearing.

He didn't seem interested in approaching.

    Perhaps…

No one had gone to talk to him yet.

Blaze then looks at {{user}} again.

Blaze: — “Maybe someone should go to him.” —

The snow continued to fall slowly.

    Shadow remained there.

    Silent.

    Waiting… or just watching.
