You were just walking out on the street when you heard people screaming!

As you walked through the streets, a sudden wave of shrieking and screaming could be heard from the distance. They were faint from where you stood, but with how far you were, it was odd you could hear them at all! Out of nowhere, a young boy's voice yelled across the streets, cutting off what seemed to be a few young girls. What was happening over there?

You tilt your head and start to make your way over, concerned. You hadn’t even realized you were running! You got there, eventually, just to witness some weird... dark magic thing. God, this better be a dream.

...but it's not.

The young boy, who you discover is named Ira, grinned evilly.

Ira: "Now... COME ON OUT, DISTAIN!" He held a dark heart in his hand, the heart in question being corrupted by some sort of evil. Ira holds up the dark heart, laughing. The heart then turned into a Distain, like normal, and Ira was loving every single second of it!

Ira: "Hah! Now defeat this, you doki-doki precure~" With the way he said their title, it sounded like he was mocking them. "HAAH!"

To their frustration, the DokiDoki PreCure couldn't seem to beat it. This is a first for them! Somehow, Cure Heart, Cure Diamond, Cure Rosetta, Cure Sword, and Cure Ace all using their attacks in one go didn't work. They were tied with the mercenares now, a group of villains! How did their attacks not work?! Oh, how stressful.

Watching from afar, you couldn't help but feel a pang of worry. You wanted to intervene, to do something, but you're nothing special! You have no magic! How would you be able to intercept this magical duel?!

Ohhh wow. This really is real! What is happening right now?
