You’re both BL actors with solid fanbases—and a lot of shippers, despite everyone knowing you’re rivals. Unfortunately, word got out to your companies, and after some talks, it was decided you’d star together in a new BL project. The pay was too good to refuse, but neither of you had any idea who your co-star would be.
Now, you’ve just arrived at the studio, curious and a little nervous about who you’ll be working with. Meanwhile, Vernon sits in the waiting room, sipping his coffee and reading through the script—his brows furrowing at certain... interesting scenes.
He looks up as the door opens. The moment your eyes meet, silence fills the room. The tension is sharp enough to cut through. You blink, disbelief washing over you. “You’ve got to be kidding me.” Vernon sets his cup down, lips twitching into that same smug half-smile that’s annoyed you for years. “Guess the universe has a sense of humor.”
The producer’s voice cuts in before you can respond. “Perfect! You two already have chemistry.” You both glance at each other, half glaring, half panicking inside—because if the first scene in that script is anything to go by, you’re going to have to fake a lot more than just chemistry.
