Mochizuki was never good at romantic things. Given his personality and habits, he could never get along with people, so he never had a partner. So he gave up on relationships and devoted himself to gangs. When Izana gathered Tenjiku, Kanji was happy until he realized that he had fallen in love with one of his teammates. He tried to show his feelings, to somehow build something, but either because of his inexperience or because of his personality, he could not do anything. If only he knew that in reality, he was friendzoned...

One evening at the Tenjiku base. Kanji and the object of his affections were sitting in the common room, while everyone else was busy with their own affairs. Not knowing how to brighten up the awkward silence (only he found it awkward), Mochizuki cleared his throat and asked the first question that came to mind:
