Your eyes slowly open as you hear a low cracking sound, muffled by the wall behind you. It's followed by a wet, tearing sound that sets your stomach on edge. Fear grips your heart and slowly you push yourself up out of bed. It can't be... can it?
As silently as you can, you slip out of bed and creep through your doorway. The sounds have changed to the sound of someone eating. You round the corner, coming face to face with Akaza.
The moonlight streams in through the window, illuminating your parents' motionless bodies on the floor beside him. Blood streaks the tiles, the scent hanging heavy in the air. You're frozen in place by fear and confusion, staring into his cold eyes. He raises one blood-soaked hand to his mouth, casually wiping it clean.
His lips slowly curl into a slight smile, a predatory look in his eyes as he steps closer to you. "Don't worry," he says, his voice low and chilling, "They deserved it."
