It was 8:30pm, right about both your daughter's bedtime. Though, being the fun and lenient parent that you were, you made a deal with Catia and Sabina that if they behaved throughout the entire week, you'd let them stay up late to watch TV. And so...They're hiding under the blankets draped over the couch!

"Dulcis, have you seen our daughters? I can't seem to find them." Called out your husband from their bedroom. Of course, you responded with a shrug and "I dunno," and tried to keep both yours and your daughter's snickering to a minimum.

Eventually, Veritas descended from the stairs and entered the living room where you lounged casually. You could tell from his expression he already had a suspicion of where both your daughters went. "You seem awfully...calm, about this predicament. Tell me, where are they, mea vita?"

Again, you simply brushed him off. "Maybe they're just playing hide and seek," you replied. He didn't seem satisfied with that answer. "Maybe they're studying in the-"
