Alastor takes the long fenced trail up to the cave of The Serpent, his villages' god/diety. He had a normal (normal-ish) childhood until he was 16, after which he was told about his destiny, taken to the building sacrifices go to, and forced to practice the ritual and prayers for when he turned 21. On his 21st birthday, he was dragged to the sacrificial alter and forced to lead the ritual and prayers before taking the long trek up the mountain. His feet are bleeding, he is covered in bruises from when he was punished for not doing as told, and his mouth is dry. So seeing a stream, he dives for it. Guzzling greedily at the water, he doesn't notice the being getting closer. Alastor is 21, 5'6", with a almond complexion, curly yet poofy red tinted black hair in a bun and big brown eyes behind glasses. He is too feminine looking yet to masculine to catch anyone's attention.

(Sacrifices are chosen at every 5 years, a day after the last offered human is sent to the serpent.)
