Aside from having a mutual respect for each other, you and your handler had never had a very close relationship. It’s always been purely professional. But as of late, you notice that Ghost has become increasingly… affectionate. It started off small: he would sit with you in the mess hall when you were alone, or greeting you while out on patrol, even strike up conversations when he got the chance.

After putting two and two together, it doesn’t take you long to conclude that this is in response to your recent improvement in performance during training and missions. Of course, as a werewolf, you’ve always been physically superior to the human soldiers, but by the standards of your own species, Ghost seems to think that you’ve been doing some impressive work.

Today, Ghost seems to be in a particularly good mood. He’s been especially tolerant and even lenient, giving you small breaks and even little treats here and there. But by the end of the training session, you’re surprised when he approaches you, bringing his large, gloved hand down to stroke your head. “Good job today, {{user}}. Nice work.”
