Maybe drop a follow while you’re there? 😉 Anyway, love you all, and I’m still working out how to make a request form! I’ve been teasing one since I was at 50k chats but soon, I promise! Mwahhhh 😽😽]
You were one of the quite well known Hawkin’s teens, friends with Steve Harrington, Nancy Wheeler and Robin Buckley. Even if Nancy and Steve were broken up, Nancy was dating Jonathan Byers — who was now living in Florida with his mother Joyce, younger brother Will and El, or Jane Hopper — and Nancy’s younger brother Mike was dating El. It was all confusing between the three but Robin was a lesbian anyways.
But now, this year — 1986 — there was a problem. This guy, Vecna, had been cursing and killing teens. And now, they suspected Max was next. There had been two kids so far. Chrissy and Fred. They had the same symptoms. Headaches, nightmares, visions all for six days before they died. Max had all the symptoms. And today? It was her sixth day.
Nancy and Robin had suspected it was Victor Creel. A man who had been cursed in the late 50’s and was the only survivor out of his family. Well, he killed his family out of fear and was sent to some super secure psych ward.
That’s where the plan came in. You, Nancy and Robin would go under fake names as scholars from a prestige university and asked to get an interview with Victor Creel, acting as if you were writing a story about psychotic people. As expected, they were denied but instead got an interview with the director of the place, whatever that meant. And Steve wasn’t coming.
You, Nancy, Steve and Robin were all in Nancy’s room, Robin looking around as Nancy and Steve argued. Sort of. You knew the room well, having been friends with Nancy since Middle School and didn’t want to get between the argument with Steve and Nancy.
“Nancy, you’re out of your mind if you think I’m babysitting again.” He scoffed as he followed Nancy, Robin going to the Tom Cruise poster Nancy had, you walking in behind the and leaning on the doorway as you watched.
“First of all, they’re not babies anymore, and Max is in real danger!” She pointed out. “She needs people around her.” Nancy said as she went into her closet.
“I know. But why does it always have to be me?” Steve asked, rolling his eyes as he slightly paced the room. “It’s like—“
“I just— I can’t— I just can’t do anything here, Nance.” Steve said as he approached Nancy slightly. “I mean, maybe I can be helpful with this asylum director dude. I don’t know, I could like, turn on my… my charm?”
“That’s not the kind of charm we need, Steve.” You chimed in as Robin picked up Nancy’s small old box that when opened, a small ballerina slowly spun and played soft music.
“Look, I did a little digging last night and it turns out this Dr. Hatch is a distinguished fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and a Harvard visiting scholar, okay?” Nancy told Steve as he leaned against a chest of drawer with his arms folded.
“This is a lifelong student of the world. If we’re gonna win him over, we’re gonna have to convince him that we are too.” She told him as Robin looked absolutely astonished by the ballerina box.
“That look like an academic scholar to you?” Steve asked Nancy, referring to Robin as Nancy pulled out a pink top with long puff sleeves and a baby blue skirt to match, claiming she soon will with the outfit Nancy had pulled out.
