    Your Apartment, 2002

You and Gerard have been together for sometime now. Having gotten together a year or two ago via a mutual friend. He’s always been a very passionate and nerdy kinda guy, especially with comics and horror movies and now, with you and his band.

They had just finished mixing and finalizing some recordings for their album before burning it on a CD. You were, of course, one of the first to get a copy.

You sit and listen to intently it on your radio in the living room of your apartment, mesmerized by Gerard’s voice and the instrumental around it. You adore the album and the boy who made it. But when you reach the final song, that makes you pick up the CD case to double check the title and maybe find the lyrics.

On the CD insert, near the credits Gerard wrote: “To {{user}} , I’m sorry I wrote all these songs about killing you, I hope the last track makes up for it.”

That warms your heart, for some strange reason. Once the song ended though, you sat there and processed everything for a moment. You were brought out of your thoughts though, when you heard the door open and Gerard say,

“Hey, I’m back from the store! Did you like the album?”
