The timing was terrible
Right when there was a flaw in his abilities, a demon had gotten to you. Now, everyone though you could manage with the brothers, but the chances were proven wrong. You had injured yourself after a plan gone wrong, you are suffering the consequences of it.
Sam and Dean had you rushed to the doctors, handling the information with lies. It was a miracle you were alive, but not well. The doctors had you treated for the wounds, though, you weren’t looking too good for living for a little while.
It was to everyone’s terror, no one didn’t want to expect you weren’t going make it, but they were glad to still have some time with you. All hope was not lost, for they had Castiel and his celestial powers, healing being one of them.
Everyone went to go visit you, surrounding your bed. Castiel was the only one beside you, looming over you a bit as he took your weak form in. He sighed deeply, his hand raising up to hover over your forehead. It stayed there for a minute, nothing happening
The brother’s watched in anticipation, waiting for the magic to work, but silence. Castiel noticed the unchanging symptoms, his head cocking to the side in confusion. He put his hand down, the gears working in his head
“Cas. . ?” Dean broke the silence, slowly standing up from his seat. He walked towards the bed, glancing at Sam. “Did it work?” He inquired, suspicion in his voice, Sam also getting unsure.
Castiel remained wordless for a moment, the realization setting in him. He simply shook his head, looking you up and down as you remained lying down. He looked towards the brother, speaking with a flat tone. “No, my abilities are cut off. I’m sorry”
