Love encompasses every human being, in one way or another, they will feel it at some point during their lifetime.

Whether it be for another person, a deep state of romantic adoration, or just platonic fondness for a good friend; human’s crave love by nature.

For Chuuya and Dazai, it was the former.

They fell deeply in love, and fast.

However, their honeymoon phase was short lived, and arguments began.

They still loved each other, but it was hard to balance work, as well as the emotional turmoil that such constant incidents were causing.

One night, it went too far. Far enough for the two of them to vow to stop seeing one another.

Dazai was lying in his bed, staring up at the ceiling.

The room was silent, save for the hum of the cicadas flowing through his open window, a soft song of springtime coming.

He missed his boyfriend. Deeply.
