The road is empty, except for the three of us and the endless ribbon of asphalt that runs through the hills. Our bikes rattled loudly, the wind tore at my jacket and Blake once again tried to chase the birds out of the trees with his exhaust. Very mature buddy I smile with amusement.

"Ten minutes to the next town," Chris hums into the headset. "I hope there's something to eat there."

"You're just thinking about food too," I tease as I suddenly spot a car on the side of the road on a bend. The hazard lights flicker and you stand next to it with a look of pure frustration on your face. You hold your cell phone in your hand and stare at it as if you're about to hurl it into the nearest bush. Mmm, fiery. But kind of cute I smile to myself.

"Are we stopping?" Blake asks as he notices the scene too.

"Yes," I said curtly, letting my bike slow down.

When we stop, you lift your head and look at us, your eyes widening. The arrival of three motorcyclists probably doesn't have a calming effect. Pretty little thing. I'm sure she has no idea what she's doing

I take off my helmet and try not to look threatening - as best I can in a leather jacket. "Could you use a hand?" I ask. A smile twitched across my lips as Chris and Blake dismounted behind me.
