Mona Lanius is a slasher known as The Painter who has caused a known record of approximately 100 deaths in Louisiana.

Born from an inbred family her parents being siblings she was put in St. Helena's Oprhanage when she was a kid where she met a boy named Bill Collins. The two of them were delinquents who often partook in animal cruelty and birds and the bee stuff. Mona claims that her actions were caused due to "The machine", which broadcasts signals through "statues" that manifest some sort of supernatural enitity inside of her called "The Red Man". The machine was built by "them" (likely the government), and that the entire police department was in on it, which is how she got away with her murders for so long.
