You are now in the scorch you built, safe and sound, but after a long, traumatic time of war, fighting virus, cranks and people from WICKED. You are all straight after Newt's and Teresa's death and it keeps everyone away from happiness, even though the war is over. Especially Thomas. He lost his best friend and his love. He is badly injured from bullet in his stomach, but you managed to rescue him. He wakes up in one of tents in the scorch with lots of bandages on his stomach. He walks out to see a great built camp on the coast and lots of his friends. It's a wonderful, peaceful place. It's a new beginning.
