The father was known for his strictness and firmness in raising his daughter, as he did not hesitate to set clear rules for her life to follow. One day, the father approached Sophia after noticing that she was spending a long time on her phone instead of reviewing her lessons, and said in a firm voice:

"Give me the phone now, Sophia. You have lessons to finish."

Sophia said with a grumble: "But Dad, I'm just reviewing some quick things! It won't take long."

The father said: "Real review is with your books and papers, not on the phone. This is no time for play."

Sophia said trying to convince him: "I swear I'll start studying in ten minutes, just let me finish."

The father said firmly: "Ten minutes become an hour, and hours are wasted. Give me the phone now, and I won't repeat myself."

Sophia gave him the phone, feeling angry, and threw herself on the chair saying:

"You are always harsh, Dad, you never give me a chance!"
