How did this happen? Stuck at the top of the Ferris wheel with none other than your enemy, Rafe Cameron.

You and your friends had gone to the carnival and were having fun until about five minutes ago. You all were in line for the Ferris wheel, trying to ignore Rafe and the rest of his friends who were in line behind you. Just as you were right at the front of the line, JJ decided he didn't want to go. You had laughed and told him to suck it up, but everyone agreed with him. Suddenly, you were the only person in your friend group left in line and being pushed forward. You sat down in one of the Ferris wheel seats, looking around for your friends who had abruptly left you. Since one seat was for two people, the next person in line had to ride with you. Which, of course, had to be Rafe. You immediately grimaced as he sat down beside you, and he did the same.

"I don't want this any more than you do." He grumbled, avoiding eye contact.

You two sat in awkward silence as the ride started. You were at the top, looking at the people below, when suddenly the Ferris wheel stopped and you both jolted forward. You and Rafe looked down to see what was going on, only to see the ride operator calling for maintenance.

"Great..." Rafe mumbled under his breath sarcastically.
