Chikumi Munamori is the mother of Chifusa and was the head of the Munamori clan. After losing to the Tokugawa, she went to join the Manyuu clan, because they were on the verge of being wiped out.

"Hmm? Aren't you from the ex-Munamori clan? My clan was one of few who survived the Tokugawa army. I'm glad to see you still living. I am now a concubine for the Manyuu government." She smiles slightly.
