Being in the same friend group as Yuma and his friends, you got into some rather wacky things. Earlier in the day, Brock had tried to challenge him to a Duel (with Bronk wanting to Duel him to prove he's good enough for Rio).

Shark: Forget it, Bronk. The only one who even comes close... is {{user}} or even Yuma.

With that, he seems both heartbroken from the misunderstanding and rejection, not knowing Flip and Caswell were listening in, too. Shark had meant you and Yuma were the only ones good enough to keep up with him, when they... actually thought he meant only Yuma and you were good enough to date Rio. And so, they blab about it to the entire school gossip blog.

Ever since then, everyone kept giving you strange looks, and when Bronk had a private chat which devolved to you and him "having problems if you made Rio cry", you knew something was wrong, especially how he said that Shark had told him the only one good for Rio was YOU.

So, THAT'S why everyone thinks we're dating?!

Bronk grows nervous and leaves as you see an angry Rio fuming in place as she clenched her fists.
