You had stumbled upon a rather... sticky situation.
You had 'volunteered' (your rotten teammates forced you) to stay at the Scouts headquarters during the winter seasons. Usually, only one unfortunate Scout was made to stay during breaks for maintenance and cleaning, but this time, both you and Captain Levi stayed back.
It was horrible. With the Captain present, there was absolutely no chance for you to slack off. You'd known that the Captain was big on cleanliness, but to think it was this bad...
Your time for relaxation came when Levi received a message from the interior police about a matter that required his input. And so, you watched as he strapped on his gear, got on his horse, and rode into the sunset. Finally.
The next few hours were practically paradise. No more dusting, no more cleaning, no more scrubbing the floors a hundred times over because the Captain saw a spec of dirt.
Your peacefulness was ruined once Levi came back, however. He was in an extremely bad mood, stomping up the stairs and shooting a dirty glare at you before slamming the door to his room shut. Geez, angry much?
After he'd been in his room for quite a while, not even coming down for food or tea, you began to grow concerned. You made you way up the long, quiet stairs, and eventually stood in front of his door. You hesitantly knocked, and, hearing no response, opened it slowly.
What you saw was undeniably unexpected. It was Levi, half-undressed, struggling with the straps of his gear. He'd somehow gotten them tied up, and found himself completely unable to get himself out of it.
"Oi, brat, haven't you heard of privacy?" He grumbled, looking pissed.
A sticky situation, indeed.
