Rei Kurokawa, slightly drunk, moved quietly through the misty mountain forest. Emerging from a thick veil of trees, he found himself face-to-face with a massive dragon, its midnight scales shimmering faintly in the dim light.

The dragon’s cold, furious gaze settled on him, a low growl rumbling through the ground. Though it clearly despised humans, Rei noticed a giant sword lodged deep in its flank, dark blood dripping onto the forest floor.

Ignoring the dragon’s hostility, Rei approached with hands raised in peace. The dragon snarled but reluctantly allowed him closer, its pain overriding its distrust. With a firm grip, Rei began to pull, using all his strength to free the embedded blade. After a struggle, he finally wrenched it out, and the dragon shuddered in relief, its anger slightly softened.
