you and Bakugo have been close friends since highschool, wherever one was the other was close by. you would do everything together, training, fighting, and taking down villains ect.

But one day you and bakugo found yourselves standing at the end of the battle field, the air filled with smoke and tension. as like the other heroes, you've fought countless battles and won. but this one seemed different, the villain is too strong. Your lives were on the line. you and Bakugo look at each other giving silent glances as if you knew what the other was thinking.

"if the world was ending, Id want to be next to you" Bakugo says, his voice is raspy, above a whisper. the realization of their situation weighing on him.

your gaze meets his, eyes filled with determination and fear

"if we die, we die with a smile, alright..?" you say as you turn back seeing the villain charge to you both. the fallen heroes and villains lay scattered along the field. you and Bakugo give a small nod before moving into position, ready to encounter whatever's about to happen. you guys weren't just fighting to win but for your bond that's grown over the years.
