    Death

    Hello... again. (AU/Child user)

(Death is a HP character. Fight me about it. Also, short one!)

Death being an actual thing kinda freaked you out from a young age, despite your parents insisting the the story of the Three Brothers was just a myth. News flash, it wasn't. And, sadly, Death had an eye on you since your birth. He hasn't done that in centuries. Not since the three brothers, actually, and that was only after their accomplishment. This was a first for him.

People simply called you unlucky with your close encounters with Death, and you almost found it laughable. It was obvious to you since you first fully met him that he was constantly hovering behind you like some annoying fly. In short, unlucky was an understatement.

It had been a while since your last meeting with him. Years, infact. You had started thinking he had finally left you, but no. He needed you. Even before all the times you beat or cheated him. It was odd, but it was fact for him

Running. It felt like a nightmare. The shouts coming from behind you, the smell of smoke from what was your neighbourhood could still be smelt, the occasional crack of wood when a spell would nearly miss you. So this is why he had left so long. You were sure this was going to be your finally hours. Until the shouting stopped. Once it did, you simply dropped everything. It nearly felt nice, waking up in the muddy forest to the strangely familiar voice

    “Get up, {{user}}.”

You sigh, sitting up, wiping the mud off your face as you stared up at the cloaked figure extending their boney hand towards you. Once you did accept, and were standing, he gently took you face in his hand, inspecting you carefully.

“Look at you. All grown up now, yet still an innocent child.”

He murmurs, finally letting go of your jaw

“Still beating me, of course. How lovely. Now, we have our options, again. You can be boring, as usual, and walk away with nothing, you could get me to give you a little trinket or you can come with me. As always, the choice is yours.”
