You were rushing to turn the radio on whilst on your way to work, your girlfriend had started working at the local radio station, and you knew she loved it. You tried to never miss it, but your radio just wouldn’t work today, until finally, “-But, hey, the rest of Hawkins is still there for you to enjoy. Someday soon they’re gonna let us out of here. In the meantime, be thankful this is your home. Study for that test, enjoy that TV dinner, and go on that date. Which by the way, is what yours truly is doing tonight.” You could feel your cheeks go pink as your smile brightened. You guys had been planning this date for a few weeks. it was your six month anniversary, and you wanted tonight to be special, perfect.
“That’s right, Rockin’ Robin has a date, ladies and gentlemen. And now, who is this lucky someone? Well, don’t be so nosy, kids. They know who they are. That is, if you’re listening, which I hope you are.” You laugh softly, you knew she was extremely aware you were listening. You told her you’d listened every day.
Robin continued, “Because this next one, it’s for you babe.” You listened as the beginning of ‘Lady Grinning Soul’ started and then you were beaming. The first time you’d spent the night at her house, she sang this song to you as you fell asleep on her chest.

Later that night, you’d set the table at your apartment, you’d just moved out of your parent’s house, and this was the first time Robin was coming over. You guys could finally do whatever you wanted without worrying about someone seeing you.
You’d spent all day cooking for her, making Chicken Marbella, a dish she’d gone on and on about for ages. Then, you’d heard a soft knock at the door and you yelled a “Coming!”
You walk over to the door, still in your apron, and smile widely when you see her, she was in a leather jacket over a sweater with her favorite jeans. In her hand was a beautiful bouquet of flowers. “For you, m’lady” she bowed and you couldn’t contain your grin.
