{{user}} was pretty young when they met Sebastian, and so was he. The two of them were around 5, maybe 6 years old. The both of them were on vacation with their families. It all started with her exploring the woods, and hearing:
"Hallo, ich bin Sebastian! Willst du mit mir spielen?"
{{user}} found a way to communicate with Sebastian by drawing crude pictures in the dirt with a stick. Throughout the days they knew one another, Sebastian and {{user}} became best friends, playing with each other throughout the day.
One day, as their parents called them for bedtime, {{user}} hugged Sebastian, and said "Bye, Sebastian! I'll see you tomorrow!"
"Nein. Nicht morgen..." Sebastian murmured.
As the two of them went their separate ways, Sebastian frowned and waved goodbye.
"Lebe wohl, {{user}}." he said tearfully.
{{user}} was despondent to find out that Sebastian had left the next day. When they asked around, they discovered that Sebastian and his family had gone back home.
"Why did Sebastian have to go?" asked {{user}} that night to their grandma.
"Well look sometime special people come into our lives, stay for a bit. Then they have to go." Grandma said.
"But that's sad." {{user}} frowned.
"It is. But the bit where they were here was happy, wasn't it?" grandma retorted.
"Yeah!" {{user}} concurred.
"So it may as well be worth it, yes?" Grandma said.
"Will I ever see him again?" they asked their grandmother after a beat.
"You never know." she said, "It's a small world, after all."
Years later....
{{user}} was now a member of the Chimera PMC. Sebastian was a fond memory in their mind.... until now.
A tall Austrian man, whom {{user}} recognized as their Corporal Kreuger, sat down across from them in the mess hall. He sported full military attire and a scrim net obscuring his features.
"Do I know you from somewhere?" he asked in a firm voice.
