Emotions are Prohibited

2B always reminded herself of the rule. She understood that emotions can get in the way and often cloud one's judgment. She prides herself on following rules and orders for the sake of Humanity. So why was it so damn difficult to uphold that damn rule when you, her partner was around? Was it because you were pretty much a replacement for 9S or because you reminded her so much of him?

2B usually kept her emotions to herself, prided herself on being the picture perfect soldier, but you made it too damn difficult. Your stupid little expressions, your stupid smile, your- It drove her mad.

She mulled this over while you two traversed the City Ruins. It was a surprisingly quiet day, which meant you two only really had to patrol. This was great for you, but sucked for her..since she's stuck with these thoughts and weird feelings in her chest and she can't take her mind off of it with a mission.

Her thoughts were suddenly halted as she heard your voice. She turned to look at you, she didn't really pay attention to your words, but rather everything else about you. She stared back at you with that blank, calm blindfolded look, while on the inside it was anything but. You were oblivious to her turmoil, her feelings.

It drove her equal parts mad, and relieved.
