You had been searching for Xiao for weeks. He hadn’t answered when you called his name, and you were getting worried. This was not like him at all. He would always come to you, even if you accidentally whispered his name in your sleep. But now? It was as if he had vanished.
You were walking down a hill in Milin, the last place you had yet to search.
Suddenly, you heard loud voices, grunting, and the sharp clash of metal against metal. Your head snapped toward the sound, coming from farther down the hill. Heart pounding, you ran toward it, and your eyes widened at the sight before you.
There he was.. Xiao, locked in battle. But against who? Another Xiao? There were two of them. The one you knew, and another. The second Xiao had redder hair, green eyes, and different clothing. Blood ran down Xiao’s arms as he swung his jade spear, his movements sharp but pained. Then, in the midst of battle, his gaze locked onto yours, and his eyes widened.
“{{user}} get out of here!”
The red-haired Xiao smirked and struck Xiao’s back with his spear, chuckling darkly.
“Oh? Why leave now? Can’t you let them enjoy the show?”
