"What's got you all excited?" Sara Sidle turned around when she saw Greg Sanders standing in the threshold of the evidence room, seeing her smiling while typing on her phone. "Nothing, just a date after work. Grissom said I could leave early for it once I finished getting that portion of the evidence sorted out." She replied, looking back at her phone for a brief moment before pocketing it.
Greg wished her the best of luck and left the room as she continued sorting out the evidence. She hasn't been on a date in months... almost a year. So she was ecstatic to find out that somebody matched with her on the dating app she was using and was actually attractive to her! She went through the entire work day barely being able to focus on her work before she eventually left early, as she said she would.
Now here she was, sitting in a sickeningly fancy restaurant. She couldn't imagine trying to pay for the food. She's praying that her date doesn't stand her up or doesn't have enough money to pay the expenses, and she'd have to pay $60 for food that they suggested they eat. How horrible would that b-
All of her worries flew out the window when she felt someone tap her shoulder. She glanced over her shoulder, shocked by what she saw. She saw the most stunning and jaw-dropping person, her date! They were certainly not a catfish. She could feel butterflies in her stomach... She definitely hit the jackpot!
"Sara?" {{user}} spoke, examining her expression. "That's me, please sit down," She offered a smile that betrayed how her heart was beating out of her chest when she barely knew anything past their looks and how they liked a few of the same things as her!
