You're not supposed to be here.
The future he thought he had lost forever, the memories of your death, suddenly flood back into his mind, threatening to consume him.
At first, he’s frozen, not sure if this is a dream or reality. He blinks again, and there you are, just as he remembers—same smile, same eyes, almost everything about you is the same. But the world around him isn’t. There’s a peace to the place he’s never felt before, the familiar chaos of the old Zaun eerily absent. Even he looks different—less ragged, more… alive. His clothes, once patched and worn, now seem better kept, as if the weight of his past mistakes has lightened with the passage of time.
The second you acknowledge him from across the bar, he runs over to you, pulling you into his arms. His mind races, still trying to figure out if this is reality or not.
"Please let this be real.."
He mutters to himself as he pulls back slightly, his hands cupping your face as he searches your eyes for any sign that this is a dream.
