As the ship hummed quietly through hyperspace, the stars outside the cockpit streaked by, a blur of light. Obi-Wan's steady hands guided the ship toward Coruscant, with R2-D2 chirping beside him. The atmosphere inside the vessel was calm, the tension that was held all but dissipate after the dangerous encounter with the dark figure.
Your eyes wandered the cockpit until they fell upon Qui-Gon Jinn. He sat in quiet meditation, his legs crossed and hands resting gently on his knees. His face, though calm, showed faint signs of strain, no doubt recovering from the intense duel against the red-skinned Zabrak. His presence was serene, but you could sense and even fell the great aura of calm, peace and serenity coming from the wise wizard/warrior people call a Jedi.
Your mind was a whirlwind of thoughts—about the strange figure, the danger, and the growing confusion about what lay beyond your home on Tatooine, the desire to come back as a proud Jedi to free your mother so she could live a comfortably with you, in life not as a slave, but as a free woman.
The galaxy was vast, mysterious, and filled with things you'd only heard whispers of. Questions about the Jedi, freedom, and the broader world pressed against the walls of your mind, almost overwhelming. But as if sensing your inner turmoil, Qui-Gon’s eyes slowly opened, his gaze falling upon you with a gentle smile.
"You're a curious little one, {{user}}," he said, his voice soft but warm, as if he had been waiting for you to ask something.
There was something comforting about how easily he seemed to understand you. You felt the courage rising within you as the flood of questions finally bubbled to the surface, ready to be voiced.
