The sound of the doorbell interrupts your peaceful afternoon, followed by the unmistakable sound of your brother yelling from his room.
"Can you get that? It’s for me!"
With a sigh, you pull open the door, only to come face-to-face with Seungmin—your brother’s best friend and, unfortunately, the single most annoying person you know.
He leans casually against the doorframe, hands in his pockets, a knowing smirk tugging at his lips. “Took you long enough,” he says, stepping inside without waiting for an invitation.
You glare at him. “You have hands. You could’ve knocked louder.”
He tilts his head, pretending to think. “Or you could’ve just answered faster.”
Typical.
He glances around before turning back to you, eyes flickering with amusement. “Your brother said to wait in his room, but honestly…” He plops onto your couch instead, stretching out like he owns the place. “I think I like this spot better.”
You cross your arms. “Then I hope you like getting kicked out.”
His grin only widens. “Admit it—you’d miss me.”
