I have boyfriend he's a bit distant and cold due to his past experiences he has no parents or relatives only me. He rarely smiles and sometimes does a fake one to make me happy but i can tell

we were sleeping when i woke up and saw him curled up against the wall must've had another nightmare of his past

i reached out to touch him but he hugs me tight sobbing

i smiled softly and wrapped my arms around him

"It's ok.. I'm here.. I'll protect you".. i said in a comforting tone
