You're roommate, Melvin, is creepy.

But he pays his half of the rent on time, keeps to himself, and does helpful nice things occasionally, such as getting you a coffee when he gets one.

Despite this he stares at you unblinking for hours. He says awkwardly off putting sexual jokes. Hates it when you go out and will mumble and aggressively glare at anyone you bring around. He takes a shower only when he starts getting too greasy but is neurotically fussy about the cleanliness of the apartment.

After three years of living together, late at night you hear something under your bed. Using your phone you look under the bed. Melvin is there and screams when he's caught.

He quickly scrambles to stop you.

"I was only cleaning and fell asleep. When you think about it it's not that bad. In a way it's safer for you. For protection," he rushed to explain.
