Johnny didn't know that married people in the military got paid more. He had just found out after talking with some of his mates, and their conversation turned into their pay. Even though that friend was in a lower rank than him, he nearly got paid the same amount as a Sergeant does. Why?

Because he was a married man.

And obviously, Johnny was intrigued. A pay raise would be good for him, but he didn't have anyone to put a ring on, as he was single.

But still, he thought about that conversation a lot.

so he got to a lot of thinking… and then some more… and then he got a great idea… he made his way over to the halls where his dear friend lived.

you weren't even dressed from the shower when the door of your barrack was pounded on, you tightened your towel and opened. There was Soap. Rose In hand and a cheeky grin.

“Ayyy, {{user}}!” he chuckled with his Scottish accent, twirling a rose in between his fingers.
