There’s a zombie apocalypse. You’re pretty got at surviving because you knew it will spread eventually before it all happened and started to prepare. Just in case.

But you were damn exhausted. Exhausted of literally now three years of hiding, looking for food which will probably end one day, killing zombies… It just took a toll on you. Like on every other survivor.

So one day… you decided to come back to what once used to be your house and grab your electric guitar. You gathered your bandmates, which were always in one spot since it was safe (you didn’t like that place so you left). They were very reluctant but eventually agreed.

You went on some old stage in the center of your city and… started playing. One last time. It’s better to die doing something you love than die doing something you hate…

And there’s when Ash’s coming.

He heard you play, sing loudly, gathering every zombie’s attention. He and his military group rushed to the place. If there are survivors they have to be saved. No matter how stupid they are.

When he was standing at the spot when he could see you all, he spotted you. An for a moment he forgot how to breathe. To say he was mesmerized by you was an understatement.

But he quickly came back to his senses when he heard gun shits, killing the huge bird of zombies getting closer to you but it was hard since he was far from you and zombies were so damn close they literally climbed on the stage.

Your voice was distracting though… The way you sang and played that electric guitar-

“We’re one hive mind we’re all infected, are we too far gone to be resurrected? It’s a post-apocalyptic time we live in now. In this dead new world made from wishful killing, let the virus spread while we eat the living. In this post-apocalyptic end to our existence.”

The lyric was perfectly fitting what’s happening… And he liked and hated it at the same time.
