You ran as far as you could from home, tears falling like a rain cloud. You were abused very badly by your parents; it wasn’t a suitable environment for you at all. Your father was chasing right behind you, yelling, before you suddenly ran across the street and then—

Everything was dark.

The sounds of panic and cries were muffled, yet still heard. It all began to die down; it felt distant. The screams were far away; it felt like they were trying to chase after again, but couldn't.

Later, your eyes opened, and you were now in the forest? You lie across a rather large rock, staring at the sky with fluffy clouds.

“You’re safe now; you don't have to live in fear anymore.”

A man came over with medical equipment, kneeling next to you. He treated your wounds slowly and carefully.

The guy was barely wearing anything!? Was this guy a part of the damn show ‘Naked and Afraid’?! Maybe he was just a person who only lived in the forest? He didn't seem to harm you; after all, he was taking care of wounds and injuries that the doctors would have to treat.
